This beautiful cab dominant blend (15% merlot) promises to be one of their best vintages in a long while. Dark fruits with a depth of flavor uncharacteristic for an only slightly big medium-bodied wine. Playfully spicy with a good tannic core. This got better each day over a 5 day timeframe. Wow. I would have blinded this as Syrah. So damn good. Olive , smoke ,and fruit pie on the nose. Deep macerated raspberries with olive tapenade on the palate. Rich mouthfeel, long finish make this another exciting pax wine. Love this. — 6 years ago
