Still the best of Toulouse’s offerings. — 8 years ago
Sample. Light brick red. Softer raspberries on the nose with wet stones and forest floor backed with stinky and smoked undertone. Low tannins (4/10) and moderate acidity (6/10) but balanced. Intense structure compared to the Oppenlander. Layered palate with tart raspberries, dried red cherries and freshly cracked pepper. Each note on the palate kept developing more depth with air. Medium plus body and long finish. Drink till 2024. — 9 years ago

Jackpot. Love me some cool climate cali Pinot. Got a little bit of baby fat on it right now but there is some terrific structure underneath this. Wonderful depth of earthiness, fruit and hint of mint.
Halcón has done something fantastic with this. They really brought their Syrah talents to Pinot here and I'm digging it. — 8 years ago
Nice wine but not in love with the Roma like I am the Oppenlander. This is nice but a little lean on body for me. It's leans Burgundian for a California. The fruits are stewed; strawberries, cherries, dry cranberries, touch rhubarb. Soft baking spices (cinnamon stick, nutmeg, vanilla), touch of brown sugar, cola, soft crushed rock powder, nice chalk, rose pedals, soft spice and a lean, elegant, higher acid finish. This is the Roma from Anderson Valley. Can't get Delectable to change it. — 9 years ago
The perfect wine to kickoff a dinner party. Nice fruit-forward finish. Olives brought out the flavor. 2012 vintage — 10 years ago
