Phillips Hill
Roma's Vineyard Pinot Noir

Nice wine but not in love with the Roma like I am the Oppenlander. This is nice but a little lean on body for me. It's leans Burgundian for a California. The fruits are stewed; strawberries, cherries, dry cranberries, touch rhubarb. Soft baking spices (cinnamon stick, nutmeg, vanilla), touch of brown sugar, cola, soft crushed rock powder, nice chalk, rose pedals, soft spice and a lean, elegant, higher acid finish. This is the Roma from Anderson Valley. Can't get Delectable to change it.
