Great wine. Very unique taste would be good with smoked fish or jamón serrano — 7 years ago
Eye opening! To see how the wines age has been a great pleasure. The world is going to wake up and find these Wines. If you have a chance to taste I highly recommend. — 7 years ago
First Sauternes! Seriously intense stuff. Paired with a nice stinky, salty Roquefort and some Serrano ham and the pairing was out of this world, particularly with the Roquefort; with the cheese it was a study in extremes, for sure. The richness of both just came together in such harmony. The wine was intensely honeyed, with sweet white peach fruit and candied ginger as well. Alone, it was definitely cloying (which is why I'm not scoring higher; if I was rating the pairing it'd be near perfect) but with the cheese it was a great counterbalance. Full bodied and richly textured. I wouldn't describe it as *flabby* since it wasn't lacking acid; rather it was just so sweet that the acid still didn't quite counterbalance the RS as much as I would like. A smack in the face with richness and certainly some territory I look forward to exploring further. — 8 years ago
The often-sharp edges of a younger Cabernet Franc have been softened by time, and yet, this wine still has solid structure. Smooth and delicious. It was INCREDIBLE with a salt-and-pepper crusted, grilled ribeye steak, roasted fingerling potatoes, and broccoli with garlic and slivered Serrano chilies. — 8 years ago
'12 vintage.
Pale straw color for this SB. Green nose on the herbal side, habanero and Serrano pepper but there a resonating guyaba/passion fruit that is quite sexy. I love the tension the acidity brings on the palate and it tightens your tongue and unleashes a vibrancy that is quite unique. I must admit that I have never had such a SB. It's not mineral nor chalky, not opulent or viscous. Barrique, like SE red is absolutely perfectly controlled. It's here, but it's not. A beautiful wine. #sauvignonblanc #screamingeagle — 9 years ago
We had this with pate. They also suggested Serrano ham. I think it would be good with desserts too. — 10 years ago

No me canso de este vino 🍷...
Demasiado excelente aroma with a long finish, and excellent after taste. Perfecto para un Serrano de Bellota o una carne asada... ...pero se deja disfrutar solo igual. — 7 years ago
насыщенный цвет, плотный фруктовый аромат - сухая вишня и терн, вкус: мягкое начало, высокий сахар, но без избытка, небольшие танины, округло, довольно длинное. Не так сложно, как старшие, но очень неплохо — 8 years ago

Available from the get go. Medium intense garnet to purple color. Lively and lovely nosen. Red fruits. Crushed wild blueberries. Cured meats.
Chewing tobacco and arrak.
Dry.
Medium to medium plus acisity.
Medium tannins w/ quite silkey texture.
Some influence of oak. But not pronounced.
Great flavour intensity. Dark cherries. Raspberries. Blackberries. Black olives. Serrano ham. Some hints of jasmin and white pepper. Very elegant.
Serve at 15 degrees celsius tog rather elegant meats, due to the wines elegant and semi-silky profile.. Duckbreast, beetroots and a mushroom mayo. — 7 years ago
