Soft on the nose. Ruby color turning towards garnet with burnished orange edges. High tannin, medium bodied, notes of black currant, plum, raspberry, dried prunes, raisins, toasty oak. Delicious! — 10 years ago

Decent fruit, pleasantly earthy with all those grandfatherly notes. Back vintage Gattinara so cozy right now. 1967 vintage, enjoyed at Maialino last week — 10 years ago
good done fiore! nice drinking... — 10 years ago
Complex expression of a Cinque Terre white. Medium gold in color with tons of white peach, orange and lemon rind, a salty tang not unlike a manzanilla sherry, orange marmalade, apricot, and a tarragon finish with marcona almond notes. Superb with food and nice if tending savory to sip on — 7 years ago
