On the eyes: Clear and bright with a deep garnet color with light shades of brown. Medium viscosity with no gas build up or sediment.

On the nose: High alcohol, nail polish remover, and sawdust that finishes with raw tobacco and warm molasses.

On the tongue: Medium acidity, medium tannin, Sour Bing cherry, and oak. Finishes with Red Pear skin and brown sugar.

Really great but not super complex. Would pair well with Prime Rib or grilled Portobellos. — 10 years ago
