One of my favorite wines of all time. Had this last fall, had it in Paris at La Buvette--still has that olive brine funk that I love (it sounds weird but it's really good I promise!) — 8 years ago

Obeideh is a grape I’m pretty sure I’ve never had before. From the Békaa Valley in Lebanon the nose there’s a really lovely salinity, lemon sorbet, green apple, thyme. Palate also has a really lovely salinity, taught acidity with some bitter almond on the finish. but like a cross between a Xarelo/Muscadet/Listan Branco. — 7 years ago
Sept 29, 2018. Celebrating bonus year #4 w/ j2, and JackD. Yummy. ESPECIALLY good for the $35 price tag. 🤓 — 7 years ago
Sweet nectar with bit flora nose. Relatively full body & heavy at first taste extremely buttery, smooth & silky. Drink it cool,... 2010 vintage @ 3 Sept 2017. — 8 years ago

Medium bodied and with nice fruit, yet not overly fruity. The Pinot elegance is there, seductive and with a touch of understatement. The wood is perfectly integrated by now and the strawberries & cream start giving way to the herby freshness. Hedonistic and delicious.
Edit Sept 2020:
This has really come together now, marrying an elegant, sophisticated structure (aka Volnay) with a Spätburgundian aromatic Profile. Delicious. — 7 years ago
Opened on 28th Sept 2018. Moroon brown. Heavy body. Heavy nose with deep wood and oak with a tinge of berries. Very mellow in scent. Not exciting but vintage nose. Acidic to palate with some sweet note. Heavy tannin. Long finishing. — 7 years ago
Sept 16, 2017. Dinner w/ Jack D and friend Mark. They brought wine. Sangiovese 60%, Cabernet Sauvignon 25%, Merlot 15%. Lovely Tuscan. Smooth and easy to drink. Luscious fruit w/ some spice. — 8 years ago
Enjoyed in Livermore, CA on the wine trolley tour in Sept 2016! Delicious! Drank in March paired with rainbow trout- an amazing combo! — 9 years ago

Crimson in colour. Sappy cherry aromas - earthy notes. Sour cherry flavours, juicy red fruits, some spice. Light to medium bodied palate and tannins. Apparently a little bit of Chardonnay goes into the blend with the Gamay. Obviously more a summer than a winter drink but curiosity got the better of me. I don’t drink much Beaujolais but this was highly recommended by Roscoe at Prince Wine Store in South Melbourne. Congratulations @PrinceWineStore for being named in the Top 10 Wine Stores in the World! Saw the list in the regular email I get from Acker in New York. Acker were #1 ; Berry Bros and Rudd in London were #2 . — 5 years ago
