Out of a split - is there any producer who is more consistent w/Zin? Ridge is up there, but for sheer offerings, I’ll take Seghesio. This is textbook - a clinic in Sonoma Zin... 10 yrs & peaking! — a month ago

Great intensity. Jumps out of the glass. Blind, called Cabernet. Very grippy Barolo tannins in the finish. — 5 months ago

Pagani Heritage Grower Series Heritage Red Sonoma Valley Red Blend 2013

Big rich wine. A bit bigger than I usually drink. Nicely softened by some age. Seems to be a good age; 7-8 years seems about right for most of these Sonoma Zin blends. One hour decant and cellar temp did this wonders. Edit: I liked this much better the next day. Still plenty of dark fruited power but much more integrated. — 2 months ago

San Lorenzo Alexander Valley Zinfandel 2015

Tasted in 2 sessions and paired with pasta with tomato and basil sauce. This is a wine with a lot of fun and pure pleasure. You have to work to discover the greatness of the grape, because there is more then the fun. Rich an sumptuous wine! — 3 months ago
