A second tier wine from the esteemed Corliss Estates in Walla Walla this wine was suggested by my wine consultant. She said "forget the funky label this stuff is really good." was she right. It has a medium to full body, firm tannins with hints of black berries, cigar box and dark chocolate. On the 4th of July how can I taste anything but a big American red. I believe I've had this one before. It's 53% Cabernet Sauvignon, 20% Merlot, 15% Syrah, 7% Petit Verdot and 5% Carmenère. Excellent blend that I love. Pairing with a bread and cheese board. Happy Friday! — 8 years ago
