Very solid Pinot to kick off the weekend, and free ourselves from the sauv blanc mauling we endured last night.
Superb, crystalline, visual presentation. On the nose, it's pure cola. Palete is clean, sharp and delineated. Cola and raspberries commingle. Bright, mineral-driven finish, with plump acidity. Excellent example by Brewer-Clifton. — 9 years ago

This was a vertical of 38 vintages to celebrate Joseph Phelps Insignia 40th anniversary! My favorite vintage! It was a tie between this vintage and 74' but the 77' was the first time they used cab franc and that's what gave it a kick! — 13 years ago
