A very nice gift of a very nice wine. More stereotypical cali than my normal Sandhi chards. — 4 years ago
Effervescent. Great. — 5 years ago
A not-too-distant relative of Sandhi. — 6 years ago
😲!!!! I've fallen in love. This is ethereal juice. Svelte, lean, orange peel, wild strawberry, cranberry, game, flowers, funk. So complex. The nose pumps out aromas out of the glass. One of the best pinots in all of America. @June's All Day, Austin TX — 7 years ago

2017 Memorious Pinot Noir
2017 Bloom’s Field Pinot Noir
2017 La Côte Pinot Noir
2017 Sous le Chene Pinot Noir
2014 Sandhi Blanc de Blancs
All Pinot Noirs were delicious. Memorious tasted some spice with black pepper. Bloom’s Field showed darker fruits. La Côte was fuller in body and riper on aromas. Sous le Chene had the best concentration and the most complex profile with hint of wild bouquet. The Blanc de Blancs was refreshing with a tad of funkiness, possibly from VA and a little oxidation, 3 years on lees, all adding to the character.
What’s especial about Sous le Chene is that it’s sourced from this 10 rows of vines literally right next to La Côte but you can somehow really taste the difference between the two. — 5 years ago
Smooth citrus and tropical flavor, not too tart, pairs nicely with salmon. — 6 years ago
Very interesting to taste this pitted against the Sandhi Pinot posted just previously. Similar in so many ways yet so different! Foraged strawberries, earth, rosewater. Tannins with a light grip like a partner lightly squeezing your palm during a horror film even though they claimed to be fearless. Bright, restless acidity. Smart and worldly. Alive and well. — 6 years ago
Great job on no so2 Pinot — 10 years ago
Very unique wine with a slow building flavor. Earthiness, wood, Blackberry, blueberry, red pepper, and a full round mouth. Easy tannins with that slight satisfying effervescence. Beautiful wine — 3 years ago
This was clearly California but in a restrained style. Cherries and baking spice. Really great after some air. Please try storm before Sandhi or other rich people’s wines in SB county. — 4 years ago
Nose begins as a dull flint, with some petrol. Needs 5 minutes of air for the fruit and oak to unfurl. Really shows after an hour open. Incredible energy and length, which is reminiscent of Sandhi, though with clearly different typicity, showing less of the lemon/lime thing and more of a full, buttery popcorn thing. Everything’s decently integrated, for the age. — 5 years ago
Classic Pinot. Soft on the tongue but full of flavor. — 6 years ago
Definitely can taste the connection between Evening Land and Sandhi. Overall it's very nice. Excellent mouth feel, not buttery. — 7 years ago
A brilliant balance of deliciousness and complexity that makes it easy to drink the whole bottle without ever thinking about things like when it was disgorged... — 7 years ago
Umami, green tea nose with a smooth, jammy flavor. Lingers for a bit with a touch of heat. Quite tasty! — 9 years ago
So beautiful! — 10 years ago

Very much in the style of the Sandhi wines from Santa Barbara. Touch of flint, matchstick, lemon pie and cream. #oregon #chardonnay #eolaamityhills — 3 years ago
