Had the 2018 with Kristen and Al, super good light Pinot — 3 years ago
Super fun tasting through a selection of Dirty and Rowdy’s. While there wasn’t a bad bottle in this lineup, the 2017 Enz was lights out... Was a treat having the winemaker Hardy Wallace join us via Zoom. What we expected to be a 30min or so zoom call to walk us through the lineup turned into 2 hours of learning about the various vineyards Hardy works with and diving into his philosophy on wine. An afternoon I’ll never forget! Thanks Clare for making this happen! — 5 years ago
Deep purple colors in the glass. Heavy cab with blueberry, vanilla, and tasting notes of earth. Very yummy cab and went perfectly with pot roast. — 6 years ago
One of the most delicious Pinot Gris I’ve had for a while. Light enough to enjoy by itself on a hot summer day and complex enough to pair with food. — 7 years ago
Generally what you'd expect from a budget Pinot - oaky/vanilla, cherry, a bit of a bite — 3 years ago
Crisp nose of unripe pear, honey and lime on the nose. Baked honey crisp apple, white flower, slight petrol on the palate. Lovely minerality and sense of terroir in this wine. — 5 years ago
Oh snap! My first time trying one of the 2017 Mataro’s from Sandlands and this San Benito County is fantastic! Beautiful, pure, fresh plums and other dark cherry with black pepper and other spices. It has an almost ferrous characteristic about it that I find quite charming. Lots of tannin and acid so let this be a note to those who are holding these in their cellar: just wait. This should be killer by 2022 but it’s already pretty exciting to drink. — 6 years ago
Bright acidity. Grassy, light pear, a little lychee — 6 years ago

Delish. Buttery, whatever that means — 7 years ago
This delicious, delicious wine is actually an orange Pinot Grigio, although it looks like a cloudy rosé. It's unfiltered and unrefined, and it tastes like an irresistible summer punch that you can't stop drinking, with notes of strawberry, apricot, and lime. A hint of nuttiness rounds it out, and it's just the right amount of sweet (not too much); it's balanced, clean, and I'll be drinking it alllll summer long. 😍 — 8 years ago

Good Pinot. The fruit tasted a little cooked, there wasn't much complexity, and the acidity had really faded. I expected more from LWC, especially in a great vintage. — 9 years ago
