Borgueils for me are like cru Beaujolais- joyous, vibrant & low tannins. Wines to make you smile. This has red & black currants, like Ribena, which for any Brits out there, is one of those delicious flavor profiles I just adore. Less on the pencil shavings here & more of the Ribena. — 6 years ago

Great wine. Love the light taste but the body is amazing. It doesn’t have an aftertaste but you can definitely taste all the flavors while you’re drinking it. If you’re a cab fan it’s worth a try. — 4 years ago

Fresh blackberries, blueberry compote, bell pepper, pottery soil, iron, black peppercorns, mushrooms, pencil shavings. Rounded acid/muted narrow velvet tannin balance, medium bodied, lush silky texture, earthy, smoky-peppery finish. Dark aromatics, smooth and refined for days. — 9 years ago
