Transparent edge with brick color. Oak woody spices. Nutmeg, Coriander Seeds. Tabacco. Leather. Aged flavor with anise, clove. Dry. Over time, Color is getting deep, Much smooth, leather. Spicy. Enough acidity. Somebody would mention it has medicine like, but I found that value. I’m so interested in what it is changing over much time. CS, MLT and Montepluciano. Don't really get the Burgundy/Pinot Noir comparisons people are making with Nerello. For me it's a lot for Nebbiolo-like, albeit more approachable. Sour cherries, rose petal, dried herb. A bit on the simple side, but an interesting wine. — 8 years ago
