After about an hour decant this was drinking really well. Loved the minerals and the complexity of fruits and earth. — 9 years ago
Super Delishous ... smooth and no flavors of oak (which we typically do not enjoy). Imported by the Square Root LLC company in Fitchburg, WI. A rare find! — 9 years ago
Sophisticated and subtle. Elegant aftertaste. Complex of flavors pivots on mandarin orange, but dry. Nice with olives. — 10 years ago

Raspberry meets first bite of red apple with tart skin in tow and moist rock (m.v.) — 11 years ago
2011 vintage. Medium ruby. Quite closed. Floral, red fruit profile. Medium acidity. Medium minus tannins. Soft and gentle. Bit green in parts. Medium plus on finish. Slightly dilute to suggest this has many years of development ahead of it. Decent and elegant. — 11 years ago
2010, Domaine AuxMoines, Savennieres- Roche Aux Moines, Chenin Blanc. Tart apple, pear and a little Myer's lemon. Acid and minerality. 14.5 alcohol but so well balanced I didn't notice. A hint of oxidation but a wine that I will definitely buy again. — 12 years ago
More fleshy and plush than I expected. Someone said beet juice, which I think is spot on. — 9 years ago
Crushed limestone, fresh florals and just a touch of lime rind on the nose. Balanced fruit and acidity with lots of fresh/floral flavors. While nuanced at first, this one open up pleasantly. — 9 years ago
Green olives and sour cherries. Mild tannins. Young but approachable. — 9 years ago
Bright bruised applesauce, honey, shooting stars of acidity through the palate. Sensual fun from a grape I don't order enough. #loire #cheninblanc — 11 years ago
Where is this strong boiled gastropod scent coming from?! The terroir at Macon La Roche Vineuse? Was it under the sea or river long time ago?? — 13 years ago

First 2016 Napa I’ve had from any producer. This is wonderfully restrained. Showing blue and bright red fruit but not at all overripe or rich. Nice acidity and only medium tannins. These will be great to enjoy in the near term. — 8 years ago
