Excellent wine with opulent black fruit - blackberry, cassis, black cherry, eucalyptus, violet, vanilla, cedar and clove. Tertiary notes are beginning to emerge - forest floor, leather, tobacco and dried cassis. Rich texture but well balanced despite 15.5% abv. Long finish, outstanding quality. — 5 months ago
I theory enjoyed this wine. It opened up fantastically and had a smooth velvety flavor. Paired with beef, rice and carrots. Plan to purchase again. Would taste better with steak or something more full in my opinion. — 6 years ago
Excellent sipper. Opened quickly. Full bodied. — a month ago
Typically a really big wine, classic Napa cab style, but this bottle was a little flat. Probably not the best storage conditions. — 2 months ago
Still got it! Deep golden color. Apricot, bergamot, soft anise. Light textured on the palate. Only 8% ABV, easy to drink. Not too sweet. Amazingly approachable. — 3 months ago
Well an excellent CA style Merlot tempered and refined by age! The winemaker’s handiwork still detectable? — 5 months ago
This has softened considerably since my last bottle several years ago. Nose is complex, with earth, cedar, cigar box, and an incense-like note. In the mouth, it’s rich but medium-bodied. The tannins that were so prominent a few years ago have significantly resolved. Entering (finally) its drinking window. — 9 months ago

Very very good. Fruity but balanced. Not carneros tasting at all. — 2 months ago
Medium body with elegant finish. Dark fruits, some earth, and some hints of spice. Yummy wine. — 3 months ago
Clementine, peach skin, decent acidity. — 5 months ago
Delicious. Nose of dark fruit and pepper. Cassis, strawberries, low tannin — 7 months ago
Full of character. Cedar comes through strong. Earthy with a heavy finish. Quality wine, but not sure if it’s worth the $. — 10 months ago
