Tiny hint of reduction but beyond that it is super floral and with loads of cherry fruit. Iron, very mineral. Elemental stuff. Dusty and very very refined. Hit of licorice. Really alluring nose. Just stunning. These wines give nothing in their youth and then the blossom. Stunningly fresh and vibrant with still some tannic grip but wonderful balance and depth. Saps your palate and tales of over. This is truly on its way to being great. It’s long and saline and has floral echoes on the finish. Profound. But with age, 3-6 more years, this will be lights out. — 6 years ago
50 % merlot, 50 % cabernet sauvignon. This 2015 Pessac-Léognan might well be the finest value in the whole of Bordeaux. Fresh dark berries intertwined with the typical subtle Pessac-Léognan spiciness. Perfectly balanced, this wine seduces with its purity of fruit and fine-grained tannins. It is profound and very elegant, concentrated but not over-extracted, with perfectly integrated oak and a long deliciously spicy finish. At less than 25 euro this is a steal. — 7 years ago
Interesting Czech wine. Great surprise and good for discussion. Very light, almost like a white wine. Fruity. Hint of sweetness, low/no tanin — 8 years ago
Love this Riesling. It's dry, but the fruit character just bursts out of the glass. Refreshing and complex, with plenty of mineral and brioche-like aromas and an everlong finish. — 8 years ago
Easy to drink! — 7 years ago
2010 vintage. Very fresh and youthful. Raspberry, red plum, dried cherry, dried cranberry, tea leaves, stale tobacco, autumn leaves, dried violets, tree bark, wet straw. Good complexity, still fresh, lengthy finish. — 8 years ago
Amazing. Smooth. Dry. Great dor hot weather — 9 years ago
Hazelnuts, petrol, lemon zest, and a bit of chalk. Some salinity. Very much like a fino sherry. — 6 years ago

Unbelievably underrated vino! — 9 years ago
1995 vintage P2. At Dom Perignon with Richard and Jay. Medium lemon hue. Amazing nose - deep concentration of toast, hazelnut, brioche, lemon curd, with some mild smokiness. Reductive. On the palate, medium plus body, fresh high acidity - tense and vivacious. Reductiveness is very attractive. Long and compelling while still remarkably fresh. Drink now until 2036. — 9 years ago

Pretty similar notes to the 2020 vintage - more gold tinge to this one. Very nice! — 4 years ago
