Hazelnuts, petrol, lemon zest, and a bit of chalk. Some salinity. Very much like a fino sherry. — 7 years ago
Nice lifted fruit, quite smooth. — 8 years ago
Interesting Czech wine. Great surprise and good for discussion. Very light, almost like a white wine. Fruity. Hint of sweetness, low/no tanin — 8 years ago
Love this Riesling. It's dry, but the fruit character just bursts out of the glass. Refreshing and complex, with plenty of mineral and brioche-like aromas and an everlong finish. — 9 years ago
Crisp apple with strawberry-rhubarb dust. — 7 years ago
2010 vintage. Very fresh and youthful. Raspberry, red plum, dried cherry, dried cranberry, tea leaves, stale tobacco, autumn leaves, dried violets, tree bark, wet straw. Good complexity, still fresh, lengthy finish. — 9 years ago
Amazing. Smooth. Dry. Great dor hot weather — 9 years ago
2005 vintage. At Le Trianon in Epernay with Jay and Richard. Medium amber hue. On the nose, lots of red currant and forest fruits, with slight medicinal tone. Metallic minerality. On the palate, medium plus acidity, medium body and alcohol, medium concentration of flavour. Medium plus finish. Still very young and lacking in complexity at this stage of development. Drink now until 2023+ — 9 years ago
Dark, cherry and delicious! See you next time — 6 years ago
Tiny hint of reduction but beyond that it is super floral and with loads of cherry fruit. Iron, very mineral. Elemental stuff. Dusty and very very refined. Hit of licorice. Really alluring nose. Just stunning. These wines give nothing in their youth and then the blossom. Stunningly fresh and vibrant with still some tannic grip but wonderful balance and depth. Saps your palate and tales of over. This is truly on its way to being great. It’s long and saline and has floral echoes on the finish. Profound. But with age, 3-6 more years, this will be lights out. — 7 years ago
Unbelievably underrated vino! — 9 years ago

Simply exquisite! One of Michael best builds. All round hill fruit :) this was gold in GovCup (2019?) This raises the bar for both terroir and maker! — 6 years ago
