Very inexpensive thanks to Whole Foods perfect accompaniment to red tomato pasta dishes! Homemade with friends just about does this wine perfect. Please refrain from acting like your too good for these grapes! — 11 years ago
What's not to love about drinking a Tempranillo in Mexico with spicy tacos? Given the food choice I'll refrain from commenting on the profile except to say it held up beautifully to the meal! — 9 years ago
Blackberry jam, sweet vanilla and coffee bean with hints of baking spices and dark chocolate. Refrain sweetness on this dessert wine. — 10 years ago
Pretty good! Although one should refrain from frezzi by the bottle to get it chilled in a hurry, this is a nice soft on the palette bubbly. Épernay would be proud! — 12 years ago
Really bright red cherry and nuttiness on the nose. Pretty, pretty garnet in the glass. A bit stiff at first, but it gets more and more inviting over time. I'll just refrain from making an analogy there. Medium bodied and dry. Chocolate, spice, and herbs. Spicy finish but not quite long enough. Nothing complicated here, just some good ol Italian. — 10 years ago
Full rich flavor, not bitter, mild spiciness. I had to refrain from gulping this down. — 11 years ago
Crushed berry and tar, bits of anise. Sweet and muscular, light floral, and solidly tannic. Evolves slowly, potently, and with savor. Finish seems short, but comes back for a refrain. V.good. — 12 years ago

Ok. I'm trying to refrain from hyperbole, but this (being the first Dolcetto I have tasted) was legitimately blown away by this bottle of juice!
For only $10.99 from TJs in NYC USQ, this is easily one of the best values I've had the fortune of encountering to date.
Intense notes of Black Cherry on on both nose and palate with a captivating spiciness / earthiness that helps add too the tremendous balance presented by the wine.
I've said it once, but this time I would like to reiterate:
