Had it on 8/7/16 at Studio @ The Montage with the Provost's celebrating Jake's bday. It was BYOB. Had kept bottle home for years based on Sherry Lehman reco only to end up staying at Franc Mayne during recent trip to Saint-Emilion. Old juice, just as Tere loves them. — 9 years ago

Welcome to Terpene Town. Forcefully resinous compounds in massive waves; aromatics and flavors that remind me of my grandmother’s oil painting studio, which happened to double as an indoor botanical garden but was nowhere close to Italy. Perhaps some Adriatic oceanity is expressing itself here in a mysterious form, but that seems like a far stretch so I’ll simply call it Purple Flowers and Turpentine. Curiously intense and oddly nostalgic. This Riserva spent 3 years in barrel but has managed to keep the Oak Monster suppressed in favor of much more unique and quirky nuances. — 7 years ago
Elegant and ready to drink. Drank at Studio with duck, lamb and beef. — 8 years ago
What a treat - tonight we had an intimate blind wine tasting with friends that was conducted by Laura Maniec, Master Sommelier and Founder/CEO of Corkbuzz Studio in NYC. At the time she received her MS she was the youngest woman to receive one. ❤️❤️❤️ her and LOVED this wine. It was killer. Dried fruits typical of amarone, soft tannins, and high alcohol. Jammy, fruit compote and light colored like a Pinot. Big, bold deliciousness. — 8 years ago
In honor of game 6, I am opening this bottle from @David A Lentine to help an anxious cubs fan get through the next couple of hours. Thanks to @LM Segal for the decant time heads up to align with game time. I am an hour in and going to let it sit a bit more to soften. @Paul T brought the big guns with Kershaw, but the cubs have too many sticks. Thanks for bolting to Orlando @Daryl Calhoun - no invite?!? #iaintafraidofnogoat Thanks again @David A Lentine for sharing this one. TN Update - working on 3 hours decanted and it is starting to shine. Soft on the palette with black cherries, strong raspberries, and vanilla. I have to add very juicy - haven't had something with this mouthwatering effect before. On the nose raspberry and flower box come through on this ruby gem. — 9 years ago

Can only be described as incredibly unique and diverse. 60% Pinot Noir, 40% Pinot Gris. Aromatic, but not exquisitely so, merely hints of floral and spice. Initially white fruits grab you on the palate - grapefruit & white peach. Then it takes an unorthodox turn and heads toward rhubarbs and sea brine on the mid palate and lengthy finish. Could venture drinking this with all sorts of dishes. To add to its uniqueness, it is merely 11%. — 10 years ago
