Really quite nice and very different. Slightly different, slightly oaked, but not in a way that is bad at all. A bit orange - sees some skin contact - mouth filling, medium acid. Very nice. — 5 years ago

Nice hazy orange hue. Stro g smell of lemonheads candy- kind of a dark saccharine sweet. Some scent of lily or jasmine. Taste is tart apple cider (and the look is too). Low tannins. Goes will with variety of food. Taste is more fruity and floral with a slightly blunt bitter end. Smell and taste on different wavelengths and it's wonderful. Recommend. Had this at cellar temp. Bloody nice. Blend of four grapes (verduc, rebula, malvasia, and jakot/tokai)... there's some spicy citrus hiding under the initial expected sherryish notes, really intriguing wine. — 7 years ago

Another first for me: Ribolla Gialla. It makes a Prosecco like introduction of soft aromas - pear, red apple, lemon and white flowers. But the palette is much more austere. Bolder flavors of bitter green almonds and toasted bread, but no pre-baked autolyse - just that toasty note.

Rich and significantly more interesting than Glera.

Глубокий оранжевый цвет. Оливковое масло на старте. Сушеный банан, спелый ананас, шкурка мандарина, пот, сливочное масло. Богатый, развивающийся нос. Полное тело, во вкусе припущенная айва, мята, цитрусовые эфирные масла, сухая шерсть. Обволакивающее, с высокой, балансирующей кислотностью. Очень долгое послевкусие. 17,5/20
