2005 a touch prunish, maybe I drank it too young (read probably) enjoyable but I think I got impatient this time. — 9 years ago
Fantastic. ReAd label. Shit app doesn't know what it is. — 9 years ago
Day 1: Very light and fruity- I was expecting something heavy and a little bitter, based in what I'd read of the grape. But it was quite easy to drink and went well with my steak and salad. I would have picked slightly lighter fare than steak if I had known this wine would be so lively! If I can get this again, I will age it to see how it compares.
Day 2: Matured noticeably, much more body, less easy drinking but still delicious, if not moreso. I now get a slight oak(?) edge, with notes of coca. I do get a bit of fruit, but it's bow blackcurrant. So if you did not like this Tempranillo when you opened it, try it the next day. It transforms quite a bit. I liked both. A perfect wine experience.

Oh yeah baby! Big fruit up front followed by plenty of grippy tannins. Dark fruit on the long finish. I've read some reviews that have had issues with the vintage. Not out of this bottle. Plenty of tread left on it as well. — 10 years ago
Always nice when expectations are met. Had read glowing reviews, and this wine glows. A very reasonable price, too. — 10 years ago
Drinkable food wine. Some tar on the nose and good acid makes it read Italian. Memorable? No. But a few bottles at a big dinner party--yes. Nicely made. — 10 years ago
Big and juicy if that's your thing. Very California. Hard to get a read on the grape varietals in this wine.... — 11 years ago
These are the real deal, better than what I read about them from the geek set. Powerful and elegant at the same time, tremendous depth and clarity.

2003 Vin Santo del Chianti Classico from our trip in Tuscany in Italy. Hands down the greatest dessert wine I have ever tasted. Aged for 6-8 years in a room on the rooftop of the villa in small chestnut wood barrels. Intense sweet aromas of figs, vanilla, honey etc...t least what the online review I read stated. I just thought it was excellent. Was €39 for a 375ml bottle and well worth it. — 13 years ago
This the wine who Michelle Obama chose in Habana cuba in San Cristóbal restaurant,we tasted for the curiosity and we found a round wine not much nose but nice taste very balance soft tannin nice wine for the place and food whit the read meat and finally a good cigar — 9 years ago
Austere pear peel. Remember past vintages of this as more wow & easier to read. — 9 years ago
I had very high expectations for this wine. I had heard a lot of very good things about Bedrock. This was my first one.
It came out of the bottle hot. Despite a couple of hours, it remained mostly hot. Strawberry and cassis on the nose. Definite American oak. A slightly bitter and metallic finish.
I was surprised to read the back label that claimed this was cool climate. It doesn't feel like that at all.... — 9 years ago
Read the worrisome note from Ms. Larner in TWA#211 today. Decided to pop a bottle and I was happy to conclude that this wine wasn't "tight and astringent" nor "a skeleton of wood". Sure, the nose is slightly rustic showing cinnamon spice, iron, grilled meat and dried flower potpourri. On the palate there's still sufficient juicy plummy fruit and vanilla cream. Dark notes of ash, fur, chestnuts and leather provide depth and interest. It's a good Brunello, with modernistic concentration. Prime drinking for those who like their wines mature. Drink now or within 3 years, I'd say. — 10 years ago
Don't read this.... Move on. This cote rotie was amazing but took an hour to open and it was suprisingly youthful. That scorched earth animal characteristic was omnipresent and ridiculous....... Tasting sip after sip out got better like being at a football game and your team is kicking ass..... This was a blowout victory. — 10 years ago
I swear... Chilean wines impress me sometimes. Smooth, great crisp & full taste, amazing oak finish. Read that it has some hints of butter... A bit hard to distinguish but yet it's an great wine!! — 10 years ago
Too toasted to offer a proper comment, but buy this 2012 LG Pomerol and, of course, drink it (if u have read any of my previous comments re wines, then you know that I am a serious advocate here..😎 — 11 years ago
I am so happy to be trying this Pinot Grigio from north eastern Italy, Alto Adige. I have read a few articles on this region and my friend Erik had been taking it up lately so I had to jump in with both feet. The aromas are wonderful with peach, pear, melon, cotton candy, and bubble gum. The palate is very smooth with a rich round mouthfeel and the full fruit of peach and pear. There is a bright & lively acidity and a touch of chalky minerality on the backend. This is at a great QPR $16.79 — 11 years ago
Best cake read for me on years, definitely on the upswing of late quality wise. — 12 years ago
Perfect when you want a lighter read but still has a smoky taste. Good one — 9 years ago
This stuff was freakin' awesome. Glassy, ruby red you can read through yet full. Levitates on the palate. Elegant tannins. Black fruit. Overall smooth, lush mouthful with sticky, earthy finish. Awesome. WBA $89 at Public Services — 9 years ago
From the apogee of my Parker score based collecting years. Ugh. Still heavy and a little over extracted, but not altogether bad and showing better with some air. Just lacks the complexity and aromatics that make some of these wines great - and albeit, I have not had a great CdP since 99 - I beg u who read this to show me one. Anyway. Color still inky. Nose still fruity (but not raisiny). I think the better part of this wines life in the rear view mirror. Drink up. — 9 years ago
The dread on this number seem to be 7.5 to 9.6, but you see people are missing the point I needed a glass of Chardonnay and this work perfectly for me at the moment in time and space that I needed it. So anybody want to bicker about its rating I'm not interested because it was perfect in another itself as the perfect expression of what I needed at the moment that I needed so they can read much. — 10 years ago
Dry, smooth, nuts, and a notable absence of green fruit. A wonderful champagne for toasting, cheeses, or even taco party pairings. (Please read dragons love tacos before criticizing). — 10 years ago
Wow, what a great wine! Decanted for 2 hrs and was very impressed by this wine. All descriptions I have read on this wine are accurate. Fruity, slightly dry, just the right tannins, smooth going down and just lingers on the tongue. Another wine that got better the longer it sat. Enjoyed drinking this wine as we entertained our friends. A definite recommend and a definite rebuy. Enjoy — 10 years ago
A lot of the wine everybody loved it I read it 95. Smooth as silk — 10 years ago
We loved Gatsby Red. Read our review here:http://goo.gl/ufqP2a — 11 years ago
Having read Clive Coates and Jancis Robinson comments on Clos de Vouget my expectations had been adjusted a light Pinot which opened up with good fruit raspberry and strawberry with mint notes a good Otago NZ could equal this, went well with baked Salmon — 11 years ago
Very good organic wine — 12 years ago

2009 vintage. Weird to read on how two reviews are waxing about this wine. I found it to be a very shallow experience. Little weight, faint nose, burn ok. Nothing wrong with the wine but not a great echezeaux. — 9 years ago
