Spiced meaty notes on the nose upon first opening, like stewed red peppers and beef. Elves into juicier riper red fruit notes as it breathes. Cooked plums and cherries. Bright vibrant young meaty cherry and blueberry fruits jump onto the palate with kalamata olive undertones and plentiful acid. Balanced with a body and mid palate that is complimented by both introductory and finishing flavors and sensations. — 5 years ago

Shared with Roberts, Marc & Ray on Saturday night. Still delicious, cherry, very drinkable — 6 years ago
Earth and blackberry. Medium plus, and fairly rich. Very good. — 8 years ago
C’est très bon mais un poil trop puissant pour moi. Belle évolution mais le vin a encore une longue vie devant lui — 8 years ago
Great rosé with a light blush color fruity upfront with a very slight bitterness toward the end the bitterness is not bad though and reminiscent a bitter melon. To me it’s a bit heavy for a rosé but pairs very well with food especially cheeses and spicy food. — 4 years ago
Delicious, smooth cab after only a little aeration. Strawberry and basalmic flavors — 5 years ago
A new blend I have not tasted before.
Well balanced with a nice smooth finish. — 5 years ago
dark ruby; blackcurrants, bell pepper, graphite, tar; medium body, medium+ acidity, fine grained tannin, 14.8% ABV; blend of 97% Cabernet Sauvignon, 2% Merlot, and 1% Petit Verdot with fruit sourced from multiple sites in Napa Valley ranging from the high elevations and volcanic soils of Diamond Mountain to the alluvial soils and warmer weather of Coombsville, Rutherford and Stags Leap District, aged 18 months in 60% new French oak; a very balanced style; $50 — 6 years ago
Good Pinot with balance and constrained fruit. Drinks nicely right after opening. — 7 years ago
Very nice for a 2015 Napa Cabernet Sauvignon. May be better to hold for a couple years. — 8 years ago

My first Joshua Cooper wine - had to check out the Young Winemaker of the year for 2020 awarded by Gourmet Wine Traveller magazine. Joshua has recently turned 32. This wine was quite rich and dense and a little closed aromatically - obviously quite young. Ripe plum, rose petals, with a little vegetal matter. - a big future ahead. Joshua has had wide experience with Australian wineries and in Burgundy with Domaine de la Vougeraie and Domaine Jean-Jacques Confuron. This wine from the cool climate Macedon Ranges with high profile neighbours like Bindi and Curly Flat. — 5 years ago
Balanced and great fruit. — 6 years ago
Besides its acidity, this Sardinian wine is an especially good pair with seafood because it carries the smell of the ocean. Salinity bursts forth with citrus in tow, both on the nose and the palate. It’s a savory wine with loads of character, and it’s a Vermentino from Sardegna. That’s really all you need to know.

First experience with this choice (2015)! Paired beautifully with a very fresh and ‘lemony’ chicken piccata, fresh and crisp yet full bodied! I might be in love, but first I need a second date! — 7 years ago
