2014 Zin, very drinkable and so so Smooth!!! Not a heavy red ππ» β 7 years ago
I lean toward liking medium bodied high acidity wines with blackberries and dark cherry notes so I really like this wine. Cool marketing with interesting story. Great job Ravenswood team! β 8 years ago
More rounded than higher alcohol (14.9%) Zins from Dry Creek or Lodi, it has good fruit without overwhelming. Shows that large producers can make high quality wines. β 8 years ago
Well balanced, hint of Smokey and spices. Any BBQ dish would match perfectly! β 8 years ago
I was awesomely surprised by this American rosΓ© fashioned in the French style. It kind of reminds me of a product from Tavel. I would definitely drink it again. β 9 years ago
Very good wine. Smooth, not to dry, definitely can tell it's a Zen! BlackBerry and plum with a smooth finish β 7 years ago

Another 4th Friday for the books! Insane pulls this month to follow up the most epic month (April) that weβve ever had!
Keyword for this is muddled cherries. Dusty cocoa dates and clay covered cherries. Tannins are completely integrated. Not much of a spice note. Still has a few years of good fruit. β 8 years ago
Fantastic wine!! Great color and nose with intense berry fruits. In the mouth rich flavors and intense fruit- mostly blackberry fruits. Great finish and goes very well with wild boar spaghetti sauce and pasta. β 8 years ago
Love this wine and at $8-$12 for a price point, it's pretty awesome! β 8 years ago
Very well balanced full body β 6 years ago
At 10 years old, Ravens Wood Old Vine Zinfandel 2009 was delectable, divine and oh so delicious. Full of berry fruit with a perfect amount of spice. Lucky me! β 7 years ago
We love it β 8 years ago
Great porch pounder, so easy with nice body, clean, crispy β 8 years ago
Pomegranates, stewed strawberries, petrol, leather, tobacco, Forrest floor, mint, cigar box, pine needles. Rounded acid/minimal smooth velvet tannins, full bodied, satin texture, super long, smoky-fruity-herbal finish. Gracefully matured, elegant, highly aromatic, secondary notes perfectly blended with fruit. At its peak, decant. β 8 years ago
Pretty decent merlot - taste a little bit more expensive than it actually is. β 9 years ago

HUGE wine! Can only imagine what this Zin tasted like on release. Currently at age sixteen shows dense red cherry and plum; intriguing leather/mushroom/tea like notes on the nose. Still very alive with firm tannins and has to be at least a percent or two of R.S. Great wine! β 4 years ago
