"Odedi"

Dark inky in color with a dark purplish color.

Medium intensity on the nose with blackberries, blueberries, figs, currants, earth, vanilla, licorice, forest floor, some vegetables, Indian spices and black pepper.

Full bodied with nice acidity and great long legs.

Dry on the palate with a great mouthfeel and blackberries, strawberries, cherries, currants, dirt, tea leaves, licorice, dark chocolate, spices and peppercorn.

Nice finish with smooth yet full tannins.

A Nice petite Syrah from California that is probably on its way out. Unfortunately, I kept it a year too long... Still enjoyable with food or just by itself. I paired it with a plate of hard and soft cheeses.

13.5% alcohol by volume.
