This was in line with their style of blended Meritage… Strong dependence on petit Verdot at 47% and you could taste it in the purple power. 21 CF 19 Merlot and 13 CS...again, like the Rappahannock Meritage, really relies on the right food pairing as the energy is distributed laterally in fruit profile and less in its powerful tannin structure. Really nice fruit rightness. I possibly would buy again however it did not seem to have the phenolic backbone for long aging — 8 years ago
Light and refreshing. A good summer wine. — 10 years ago
2013 vintage. Had a glass with steals and veggies, then another while reading. Easy drinking, light-medium body, dry, medium finish. Bought four other bottles just in case 😉 — 10 years ago
Remarkable! This gold-medal winner really does check all the VARIETAL boxes! Floral woven red berry poetry: check....acid and tannin “harmony”: check....deliciousness!: CHECK :) PS...it’s #vawine — 5 years ago
Tart but round with a citrus explosion and slate mineral core lively acidity and a vibrant finish - the Pinot Grigio alternative for everyday wine drinkers — 6 years ago

For a northern Virginia wine, this is the best Bordeaux blend around! — 10 years ago
Bit of a bite. Tingles and sharp citrus. Great with lobster dip or anything buttery. — 10 years ago
This was worth the 5+ years I waited and invested in this rappahannock co (?) family wine. Really sang herbal harmony with wifey’s perfect Wooloomooloo BeefStew Roast. Tannins have tempered at 7yrs+ to let the sweet red fruit sing a few solo lines. — 5 years ago
One of our favorite because of the smooth and silky taste, mixed with hints of cherry and dark chocolate. Nice finish and a touch of terroir flavor. — 7 years ago
