Funky yet light and fruity. — 8 years ago
Fresh tarmac and cooked berry on the nose. Very focused grenache. This wine makes me aware of Monterey's potential. Very good but I'm not sure I'd pay $48 a bottle for it. — 10 years ago
Wonderful light red. Fruit forward and very drinkable, not sweet. — 10 years ago
The dryness, tannins & acidity of this wine paired well with braised short ribs. The ribs were accompanied by polenta & salad with Meyer Lemon vinaigrette. Very important pairing note - balancing acidity to cut richness but still give a pleasant mouth - feel. 2006 vintage - Floral notes weren't dominant for us. — 11 years ago
Bone dry. Perfect start to the evening. — 12 years ago
I really like this champagne. Crisp, fresh, certain aroma but not too rich. Good for matching with dishes. Not destruct the foods. Want to drink this as daily champagne. — 12 years ago

1985 Lopez de Heredia Temperanillo. Lunch at Coq SF for A&S’ anniversary. Decanted for an hour before drinking. Excellent. Not too long a finish, but very soft and no hard end to the finish. Balanced and really delicious. — 7 years ago

Fruity and lyrical. Nice with pesto and tomato pasta. Would be good in its own too. — 7 years ago
Citrus, light, hint of tang on finish. More full bodies than a French style wine. — 7 years ago
