80% Baga with 20% Touriga National blended in. Only made in select vintages. Dark ruby color throughout. Bright and concentrated red fruit notes on both the nose and palate. Hints of red flowers, baking spices, minerals, garrigue and tobacco. Extremely long finish. Beautiful balance even at 18 years of age. Acidity and tannins have harmonized beautifully. Fresh tasting and still quite powerful. I do not understand why the Baga grape has such a poor reputation. Every Quinta de Foz de Arouce wine made from this grape that I have had the pleasure of tasting has been exceptional. — 10 months ago
A great go-to red. Very nice Chianti, we’ll-balanced. A wine for everyone. — 2 years ago

Medium ruby color; cherries, dried herbs, and black plums on the nose; high acidity; medium minus tannins; tastes like sour cherries, wet gravel, and cranberries with a long finish. Nellie likes it with the lemon chicken I made. I love it. — 9 months ago
Incredible wine. Fruit forward, the best of a chianti mixed with a Cabernet. — 2 years ago
Not bad for the price point — 2 years ago
pairs well with betrayal. So crisp and clean, unlike the step gabe spilled the last of the mustard on. — 2 years ago

Pale straw color. Smells green and citrus. Chalk and lemon on the tongue, with a grapefruit aftertaste. Crisp and very slightly effervescent. — 6 days ago
