Light and perfect daily red. — 5 years ago
Celebration to Queen and the late Freddie Mercury at The Grill on the Ally in San Jose Concert tomorrow night. The Bryant Family Cabernet blend is something to celebrate with. On the nose snaps with a dark blackberry and cherry fruit and lingers of veggie, spice and eucalyptus. Taste is full body with a rich fill of black cherry and plum and finishing with a chocolate gravel and vanilla taste. — 6 years ago
Buttery, dry, low acidity and fruit-forward. Wonderful pairing with a nice buttery croissant. — 7 years ago
Perfect way to start of #WAWINEMONTH with this bottle from Full Pull Wines. Deep ruby red in appearance. Dark spices on the nose with candied blackcherries, cinnamon, and a little herbal. Seems to have closed down a bit since last time. Medium plus tannins (7/10) and full bodied. Dry on the palate with black currants, cassis, sweet spices and dried herbs. Long and lingering finish. Drink till 2027. (91+) — 7 years ago
Better than Priscilla queen of the dessert . Power and depth with incredible refinement. Darker and deeper than I'd usually expect. wines have a herbaciousness that I find compelling. — 8 years ago
Like a sauvignon; peach, apricot, not too sweet. — 9 years ago
32/23/23/22 blend of Vermentino, Marsanne, Rousanne and Grenache Blanc. Pale white, excellent clarity. Floral and stone fruit notes in nose. Lemon, lime, tangerine pith and stone fruit flavors, lime and mineral in finish, almost dry, robust level of acidity with a variety of acids - tartaric, citric, malic. Slight carbonation in the mouth - tactile-wise, not visually. Good food wine but Vermentino character makes it suitable as an aperitif. Grenache Blanc gives it a moderate skin astringency on finish along with an herbal (dill) and slight white pepper aftertaste. Overnight, a ripe black plum skin flavor emerges in the finish, accompanied by a tart, slightly chalky flavor, maybe from lees contact. Complex flavor profile; the varietal blend and proportions largely work here. Fun wine but still easy to drink despite the apparent complexity of its components. Creative but successful wine craft overall. — 6 years ago

Full disclosure I am not a vodka drinker but on a cold snowy night in the Canadian Rockies what are a bunch of Canadians going to do but head to the Lizard Creek Lodge“Ice Bar” and enjoy vodka from Kazakhstan, Poland and Russia. I wish that I knew enough about vodka to rate this one from Kazakhstan so let’s just say it was fun. Cheers 🌬 — 7 years ago
Good way to end a busy Friday!! The Queen of Burgundy!! " Silk and Satin, leather and lace, black panties with an Angels face!" — 8 years ago
The nose reveals, mashed, sour, candied/liqueured, meyer lemon, very ripe, pineapple, golden apple, lime skin, & green apple w/ almost no skin, fresh, herbal qualities, honey, beeswax, vanillin, warm caramel, limestone minerals, soft chalkiness, wet stone with yellow lilies and florals and mixed greens.
The body is; round, rich, bold, thick & waxy. It is gorgeous over the palate. Mashed, sour, candied/liqueured, meyer lemon, grapefruit pulp, dry & candied pineapple, golden apple, key lime, stone fruit, tangerine & green apple w/ almost no skin, fresh, herbal qualities, honey, beeswax, vanillin, warm caramel, toffee, marmalade, white spice, limestone minerals, soft chalkiness, wet stone, dusty dry rocks, saline notes with yellow lilies, white florals & mixed greens. The acidity is, beautifully, round & phat. The rich, ruby, heather honied, well balanced/polished finish delicious & lingers well.
Photos of; two aspect views of Domaine Leroy & Madame Lalou Bize-Leroy (The Queen of Burgundy) in her precious vineyards. She all about bio-dynamic, lower yields, prunes by hand and sings to her vines. And, who could argue her success. — 6 years ago
Not bad for a cheap wine. — 7 years ago
Always a good bottle for me. Been counting and already had 5 bottle of this great value wine from the queen of burgundy. Still holding up good with smooth and elegant mouthfeel. The wine keep evolving after each pour. There is still fruit, spice, core sweetness and overall silkyness. As usual the cork is mouldy — 9 years ago
