Part of a PN pair that went down great with the turkey. #lynmar summit PN 2007. Excellent. Still a bit young — 10 years ago
Brilliant example of Clare Riesling with lime & quince on the complex palate, all balanced by crisp acidity. Great potential longevity. — 10 years ago
This Thomas River Brown Cabernet has a great mix of red and black fruit. The mild acidity of the red fruit is balanced with a bold jamminess of the back fruit. Mild hints of vanilla and mineral also balance out the bold berry flavors. The rounded tannins give this wine the added structure and complexity as seen with French oak, however this wine is California (Napa) hill fruit in a bottle and no hints of Bordeaux are evident. Another winner by Thomas River Brown. — 11 years ago
2009 Syrah. Fantastic, big Syrah with a great finish. — 11 years ago
Bright red fruit and dark fruit, good acidity and great finish and balance. — 12 years ago
Pear, touch of malo, touch of oak, great acid — 13 years ago
Great wine! — 14 years ago
Fantastic bottle of classic Brunello, brought back in 2013, from our visit there. One of the best I've had. Red fruits, hint of vanilla, full bodied and medium to long finish. Outstanding...... at Bacio with my bride, and some Copper River Salmon. A great finish to my B-day that began with a round at Spring Hill. — 9 years ago
Girls night with Sonya. Great wine! — 10 years ago
This is the best moderately priced Chardonnay I have had in a long time. Lemon/lime citrusy vanilla nose, medium body with generous mouth filling richness but excellent balance. The wine is very young and it will be interesting to watch its development. Excellent wine and great value. 2016 — 10 years ago
Smooth, great drinking wine — 10 years ago
The other great Pinot! — 11 years ago
Nice bottle. Tobacco notes open up to lovely delicate red fruit. Cherry, strawberry. Perhaps a touch heavy on the alcohol. Great acid. — 11 years ago
Best older vintage #Lynmar PN in a long time. #BlissBlock 2007. Great fruit with that bliss block edge of funk — 12 years ago
Recent visit to Sonoma (Oct 2014). Lynmar knows how to do Pinot Noir. All the pinots we tasted were great and I would be happy to drink on any given day. Quail Hill was one of the better ones. — 12 years ago
Great! Quail Hill is their best Pinot — 14 years ago
Really powerful, was actually better the second day. Great with BBQ chicken, much more complexity came out the second day — 10 years ago
Great complexity from one of our consistently favorite wineries. This one is very complex, and developed interestingly over two days. It's started out with a lot of brambly, earthy character, with very muted raspberry fruit, and the Russian River cherry cola fruit came out much more prominently in day 2. — 10 years ago

2019 - Just had it again. Wow. Great tannins. Got chewy. Big boy but holding up well. 2017 - Ironically #1000 Round trip. #northcoastwines rock!!! Delicious. Vibrant. Black fruit. — 10 years ago
Great, though 2003 overshadowed it. They were surprisingly similar. — 10 years ago
Absolutely outstanding.
Great fruit, bright acidity, lingering minerality. Delicious — 11 years ago
Great Syrah had it with BBQ. — 11 years ago
Forlorn Hope is a producer that has received great press of late, the last couple of bottles I tried, I felt vaguely disappointed, given the reviews. Here at last, is a spot-on dry Gewurztraminer from the Russian River Valley, that is exceptionally floral and deliciously concentrated. Orange blossom, jasmine tea, Cox Pippins. Fermented on skins for seven days, it imparts a lot of texture and even some tannins. Tart, with an almost austere quality, finishes with pink grapefruit and candied orange peel. — 11 years ago
Found my old wine journal and decided to start using it again, beginning with this great wine. Aromas of rhubarb, roses, and red fruit, with a wet granite note. Flavors of strawberry, cranberry, more granite, with a very long finish. I wonder if there is Pinot Noir in the blend, because this wine doesn't act like Syrah, but whatever the case may be, it's stunning. — 12 years ago
Great buttery Chardonnay. — 13 years ago
Another great year for Margaret River reds. 3/6/9.5 = 18.5

Great structure, notes of apple and pear. I'm not typically a Chardonnay drinker but this one was very memorable!! — 9 years ago
