Good anise, forest floor, spices to round out the dark fruit. Love the rose petal notes. Tannins are elegant but would love to taste this again in a few years. — 8 years ago
Very very nice, easy and light! Definite repeat — 9 years ago
2011. Dammit Kermit...get your name off the front of the bottle! You can read your name more clearly than Foillard - and they actually MAKE the wine. Your back label is plenty and I still love the wines you represent. But seriously, this has gone too far for long enough. PS...Foillard rules! — 11 years ago
Love is blind tasting. A much better showing than the 89. Pleasant and smooth. Pleasant for $169 is just not worth the special occasion price. — 11 years ago
Just love it. Quite elegant and aromatic, perfect integrated tannins and great lenght — 11 years ago

Love what he does with Cab. With a 90 minute decant this thing sang! — 11 years ago
Delicious! Very fruity and a mouthful! Yum — 11 years ago
I love this wine. For some reason it is very easy on my digestive system unlike many others. It has a nice price point as well. — 11 years ago

My reading speech for itself. I enjoy it very much — 12 years ago
Easy to drink fun California cab. Love the glow in the dark label. — 8 years ago
Is there a better wine for roast chicken than Loire cabernet franc? Rhetorical question, of course. 2011 so tight, even after two hour decant. It slowly unveils its charms, like Jo Fiennes unwinds Gwen Paltrow in the otherwise forgettable "Shakespeare in Love". Unlike that film, this has staying power. Stash away a case, it will develop beautifully over the next three decades. — 9 years ago

I love this wine — 11 years ago
Is it Pure? Great stuff. 2012 is a more elegant year for Chateauneuf du Pape and while still big, this isn't the sledgehammer it could've been, and that's a good thing — 11 years ago

Spicy, soily like the aroma of fresh dirt & chocolate sprinkles. I just enjoy this wine. — 11 years ago
2007 Beaucastel. So good right now, as yet so much more potential. Love to retaste in 2025 — 12 years ago
Love this one!! — 13 years ago

2018 Fall dinner for the Confrerie St Etienne.
Gosh, do I love these wines. The American oak nose of vanilla, coconut and dill is intoxicating to me. Cedar, dried cherry and rhubarb pie, touch of barnyard funk on the tongue. Highly decorated wine and well deserving. — 8 years ago
