Rally nice dry bold wine for the price point. Enjoy this bottle at the bar or outside with a gourmet pizza — 7 years ago
Dry and jammy. Delicious! Would definitely buy again! — 7 years ago
Lovely dark and fruity. Great with steak and pork. I love the mixture of the negromaro grape and primitivo grape. — 8 years ago

Really nice complex red wine. Excellent with heavy Italian food. — 12 years ago
Oaky, big Aglianico. Very structured with lots of tannins. Something vegetal in the finish. Probably should have let it age a few more years but very enjoyable nonetheless. — 6 years ago
Wow, what a deal at < $20 / bottle
Wine spectator says #69 of top 100 of 2014.
A burly, brambly red, underscored by tarry smoke and underbrush notes, offering flavors of blackberry coulis, herb-marinated black olive, grilled mushroom and ground spice. This shows muscle that recommends it to short-term cellaring, made accessible by integration and balance. Drink now through 2024. Tasted twice, with consistent notes. #69 – 91 points — 7 years ago
Blueberries cassis chocolate violet prune. Slightly chewy medium tannin. Medium minus acidity. Well balanced. Warm mouthfeel. Some jammyness comes a bit later. — 8 years ago
I drank this after using an aerator. Immediately scent of braised beef and fresh rubber on the nose. Meaty flavor on the way down. Truly is best wine under $5 at TJ's — 8 years ago
Peppery leather, wild dark berries and a touch of cherry, rounded off with surprisingly succulent, dry charcoal finish. — 9 years ago
Doesn't even need an aerator - delicious!! Definitely buy again. — 11 years ago
Straordinario. Enozioni2018 — 7 years ago
Excellent well balanced. — 8 years ago
Thick, dense, heavy, dry fruit. Good, clean, but not terribly versitile. Good that it was a dessert pairing. Will try again. — 8 years ago
Any wine that can shine from a plastic cup deserves extra kudos. Mistook for a Northern nebbiolo with its structure, detail, & balance, but the fruit is pure southern, pomegranate & black currants. Eye opener (esp for 30$ list). Want to re taste in proper stemware. I think 80% nero di trioa 20% montulpiciano — 9 years ago
My reading speech for itself. I enjoy it very much — 11 years ago
Best red I've had in a while. Heavy body, plum, a little spice. Really really like. — 12 years ago
