Mid weight with some nice complexity, still tasty after 10 years in bottle — 6 years ago
Far beyond expectations, very powerful chianti, extremely intensive bouquet, long aftertaste. Very pleasant and balanced acidity. If you are not a fan of rich reds, avoid this. Otherwise, cheers! 🍷🍷 — 7 years ago

Winery founded in 73, still unsure if this was made at Produttori, who released their own 67 Cru Martinenga or if made at Marchesi di Gresy without commercial release 🤷🏻♂️ This seemed much different than the 67 Produttori I had tried, it had some strong cedar notes and was ashy. Taste was delicious, made up for a difficult nose. Was hoping for more, but still a great 👍🏽 — 6 years ago
Secco e frizzante come ci si aspetta da un Ortrugo! Ma anche profumato con note minerali Ottimo sia come aperitivo che a tutto pasto! — 7 years ago
Straw green. Delicate herbs, lime and floral aromas on the enticing nose. Then clean fresh and juicy, with outstanding inner-mouth perfume to the ripe pomaceous orchard fruit flavors. Finishes long with a whisper of pear, minerals, sweet spices and noteworthy clarity. A knockout Friulano. (Ian D'Agata, Vinous, May 2018) — 7 years ago
The nose was dark and beautiful, showing spiced cherry, plum, dried orange, and crushed violets. On the palate, I found tart black fruits, inner floral and herbal tones, with energizing acidity matched by fine tannin. It finished intensely structured on dark fruits, undergrowth and hints of ash. This needs time, but I’m already loving it. #collisioni17 — 8 years ago

A well made version of vermentino.
Nose is aromatic lemon extract. Very fresh and clean. Very Italian. Some richness as it opens.
Palate is nicely mineral and balanced. Light gods lemon soda. Very sprightly on the palate. A hint of lemon pith. Richer as it opens. Great acidic balance.
Something in new wants to try this in 7 years for some reason.
Would be awesome with crudo.
It’s one of those wines that is an incredibly great version of what it’s supposed to be.
