Occhio di Pernice DOC is a Vinsanto produced in a rosé style utilizing both red and white varietals. Normally one would use Sangiovese to achieve this, but in this case the varietals used are Trebbiano and San Colombano, or Colombana nera. Simply amazing. — 9 years ago
