Vintage 1997 / Gem from my own cellar 🙂 J’adore J’adore J’adore #cheninblanc #coteauxdelaubance Pure nectar. Amazing mahony colour almost brown (ai ai I thought) but awesome fresh! Chenin is really amazing. Turkish delight and honey. Perfect balance. If God exists He has something to do with these wines, I am sure. Deep bow for MR. Richou in Mozé sur Louet. Probably the best $16 bottle of wine I can remember having. A lot of the excitement and depth of a Barolo but softer, lighter, and more nimble with an emphasis on the floral notes. Definitely benefited from being open an hour +. Bumped rating up after another bottle. Just amazing, regardless of price. Purchased at MWC — 8 years ago
