We discovered these guys at the Pittsburgh Wine Festival in May '12. Originally from Pittsburgh, they have some land well East of Napa in the higher elevations, and their wine reflects this. A good price point ($17.99) for a pleasantly drinking Syrah. — 13 years ago
One of my favourite Zinfandels ever :) drank somewhere outside of Pittsburgh... — 10 years ago

Found this wine in Pittsburgh while attending Duquesne's Coaching program. Found it at the Double Tree Hotel. — 13 years ago
~ 2010 enjoyed April 27, 2015. (Let's see how many times I can say "big") Big fruit-forward, syrupy nose with some tobacco and tart cherry. This is a big red, high alcohol and smoky finish...big, slow legs...wish I would have had time to let it breath. $36 bucks at a little sushi joint I found (Ya-Fei) on a business trip to Pittsburgh. Wasn't on the wine list and it looked dusty and forgotten. Lucky find... — 11 years ago

Very good from Pittsburgh. — 12 years ago
Literally one of the best Zinfandels (and wine overall) I've ever had. Whatever Duane Rieder is doing bringing grapes back to Pittsburgh from California, it's working. Dark, smokey and jammy. Reasonable at $62 restaurant pricing. Found it at Original Fish Market. — 13 years ago
