This Californian Bordeaux style blend of 62% Cabernet Sauvignon, 20% Merlot, 9% Malbec, 6% Cabernet Franc, 3% Petit Verdot, from the 2007 vintage is a true pleasure, drunk from a double magnum that was lightly decanted, the wine was smooth and elegant. Deep dark color, multi layered nose of coffee, black fruits, mushrooms and spices, full body smooth round and tasty that kept in evolving in the glass, a long delicious finish. Patience pays off ;-) my score 90, drink to 2020 (at least this large format)

Have fond memories of this wine but this bottle was somewhat disappointing and didn’t open up. Hoping a few days in the ETO will take the edges off.
