Someone is gonna do something great with pigato at some point; the bones are there, just needs to be fleshed out... — 6 years ago

I purchased from PJ Wines 6 bottles and really liked this wine. Great for a summer day/night on the rooftop. — 7 years ago
Best Wine I have ever had. It's the first wine to allow me to think of wine differently. It's very buttery with soft citrus notes. It paired incredibly well with seafood. Truly unforgettable — 4 years ago
A nice pigato from Liguria. Floral on the nose, medium bodied, medium acid on the finish. But more interesting than that suggests somehow - just a nice wine. — 5 years ago
Full and delicious: peach, white flowers, some musk. Honey. Unique bitter bite on the finish. Yes, Napoleon loved Ligurian Pigato. — 7 years ago

Cena di Natale con Paola 2017.
Excellent wine. Loads of citrus and some minerality in the nose, with white flowers. Full nody, med high acidity, very round. Persistent. — 6 years ago
Nose: petro, diesel, rubber, old oak barrels. Taste: petro, strong oak, then it's fresh peach, fresh apricots, classic great aged Reisling, dry sherry. Let it sit, and decant, gets better and more fruit. WILD STUFF! (Brought back home from Manfreds in Copenhagen) Enjoyed with Aimee, Javaid, Tim — 7 years ago
Delicious....racy, bright, ripe, crisp, refreshing. — 8 years ago

The wine producer Poggio dei Gorleri, from the small hamlet Gorleri, is located high above the Ligurian coast near Imperia, called the Ligure di Ponente, Italy. The producers’ focus is predominantly on the Pigato grape, delivering minerally, white fruit, very fresh white wines. This Shalok stands out from the white wines produced. Made of 100% Granaccia/Grenache/Alicante, this wine is bursting with red fruits. Quite dark with flavours of berry/blackberry fruit, some chocolate, some wood, with very smooth tannines. Only 1,122 bottles produced. — 4 years ago
