Dry with some lemon and other citrus and a little tart at the end. Very nice overall. Good qpr. — 7 years ago
From magnum. Wanted this to be less dilly & over the hill than it was, but still perfectly drinkable. I prefer Pierre Rolet's tradition which is a blend of 50% Savignin- it gets more of that buttery morel, salted almond thing going on. Still nice to see btg at Rebelle after they received their first Michelin ⭐️ — 9 years ago

Tasting 2 bottles directly from the cellar that was hidden from the Nazi's during WWII. Dinner at the Domaine with Pierre & Christian Gouges. — 10 years ago
Strong upfront flavor for a rose, but not overwhelming. More mineral than fruit? — 10 years ago

Usually, Merlot is not my first choice, but this is really great with a smooth finish. — 10 years ago

Lean with a latent power. Seems like there’s a lot more to come. — 6 years ago
Solid Cornas with 10 years on it. A lite smokiness on the nose to start, and a hint of it lingers, enhancing the profile. Smooth, with a bit of chocolate, earth and mushroom on the palate. Clean, dark red but almost Nebbiolo-like in color. Enjoyed with the New Hampshire Chicken for 2, all three sauces (tarragon, morel, and Coq Au Vin), mushroom and spinach fricassee, and thick cut French fries at Le Coq Rico. — 7 years ago

Delightful and a great value for the second label from this producer — 9 years ago
Phenominal value. Vanilla, spice, slight bit of tangerine and menthol. — 9 years ago
Fantastic Rhone Valley wine. Notes of dark jammy plum, cedar and clove spice on the nose, with strawberry-rubarb, raspberry sorbet, pomegranate, and light minerally feel, medium plus body, high acidity, and a nice and smooth finish. Great with food, and with an hour decant, by itself. — 10 years ago

Smoking good. Super lifted, classic rose / lychee aromatics. Fat and round on the palate, with a musky leesiness on the finish. Held up amazingly well over 3 nights. As good an Alsatian GWZ that I've been fortunate to try. — 6 years ago
