My first Lauer GG, this is everything I love about his wines compacted like a crushed car into something so dense as to be almost unknowable. Would be curious to know how these drink decades beyond. — 6 years ago
Amazing crisp green apple flavor. Don't serve too cold otherwise you lose the fruit. — 8 years ago

25 year anniversary of this wine. I have been a Peter Franus fan for a long time. This zin is medium ruby, black and white pepper, clove, cedar, red cherry, vanilla on the nose--the wood is definitely pushing through, but not overpowering. On the palate, more blue/black fruit emerges, blackberry mainly. Tannins still pretty dry, alcohol high. I think this can rest even longer but it's great now too. Awesome!!!

Vino blanco seco, con acidez y alcohol mes-alto, notas minerales y herbáceas. Aromas a toronja rosada y albaricoque. — 8 years ago
Too harsh after opening; leather and dark olives. Next day cleared! Cherries and plums in balance with light oak. — 8 years ago
Dark and strong! Delicious! — 9 years ago
Very good Barossa Semillon. Giving the Hunter a run for its money. Lighter style with good acid and no flab. Enough structure not to need SB. I suspect its best years are still to come. — 11 years ago

2007 Peter Michael Point Rouge Chardonnay. HB w MnD and J&D B. We loved this wine wine so much at the Heart concert and we loved it tonight. Floral, along with notes of buttery brioche and oak. However, somewhat surprisingly, as we drank this in comp to the 2013 Ridge Monte Bello Chardonnay, it did not win out. Still such a great wine that we really, really enjoyed. — 9 years ago
