Purchased at Hi-Rise, a perennial favorite of theirs. Very yummy! Light but sweet enough, a little buttery, not acidic. — 11 years ago
Lush tannins, cherry, pepper, leather. Two heavy weights. One objective. Delicious. Perennial favorite.-DM — 11 years ago
A serious wine that is one if my perennial favorites. Deep, dark and satisfying. The Old Vine Zin is even better, but for an entry level Zin this is as good as it gets! — 12 years ago

A couple of my old textbooks reveal a hidden confluence of factors behind the founders of a perennial favorite of mine. Smooth, balanced tannins and oak, cherry and light pepper flavors. Sadly, this is the last vintage from the old vines at the Unti Vineyard in Sonoma Coiunty’s Dry Creek. Those vines have been ripped out. — 10 years ago
