Dark ruby red with a slight purplish hues. Some greenery, iron and forest floor on the nose. A little savory too. Layered and complexity on the palate with aniseed, dark berries and orange zest. Moderate tannins (6.5/10) and medium plus bodied. Long finish. Drink till 2020. — 9 years ago
Best Ital Pinot Blanco I can remember...structured and built to last for a PB! Like to try older vintages. — 9 years ago
90% Chardonnay
10% Pinot Blanc
Nice balance of aromatics. Good acid, but not overwhelming, and PB adds weight to mouthfeel. — 10 years ago
Classy balance of oak and Pinot B. Best PB this year — 9 years ago
Lively raspberry juice core like the center of PB&J but with some bramble on the back end of the nose. Warm berry pie and dried leaves on the palate. Pretty darn good wine. — 9 years ago

Great to finally get this in a glass. PB CH grapes came into the winery pristine, fully intact and healthy. I remember tasting the macros and thinking how they would turn out, given how crisp and fresh they were on the palate with zingy acid and full flavor. Direct translation from vineyard and vintage to bottle, always a hallmark of these wines. Energetic, fresh, bursting with bright flavors of citrus, crisp orchard fruits, chartreuse, and lemon blossom, all backed by a jolt of salty minerality. Focused, nothing excessive, nothing too austere either, very harmonious and even-keeled on all fronts. — 7 years ago
