The 2014 is excellent. Very true to Forey’s elegant and linear style. Red fruit aromas are very pure and high-toned with a bit of orange peel character on top. Lovely spice and smoky mineral character. Good cut on the entry, slightly thin mid palate but a lingering energy and subtle concentration on the finish. This is not going to grab your senses with weight or power, but delivers impact nonetheless. — 5 years ago

Hits well above its weight. Lots of purity of fruit (all red), which is just starting to get slightly desiccated around the edges. Lots of porcini powder and meaty elements which I think are Brett-derivative. None of the thinness usually associated with the vintage either. Little to no wood-influence, and if it's there, deftly integrated. Strange we don't see more of these wines on lists or in stores if this is generally indicative of the domain's quality. — 9 years ago

We had the 2010 Vintage on 11/4-5/23. A real good PN. Tastes of raspberry, strawberry and baking spice. Medium bodied. More fruit forward for a Burgundy. I spoke to Flavio at The Wine Watch. He tells me this wine maker produces wines more fruit forward than most Burgundies. I sensed this wine was more CA than FR. — 7 months ago
Two hour decant and wine went well with the yakiniku. Typical Serafin Charmes — 9 months ago

Straight forward. Disgorged 2016. Crisp pear and bruised apple. Slightly savory and spicy herb component. — 5 years ago

Spice but not sweet spice -masculine spice. Reminds me of something I can’t put my finger on. Butter spiced orange peel. — 6 years ago

Nice when chilled, light, flavorful, blackberry accents. — 7 months ago
Crisp, medium gold. Just a bit of sulfur on the nose. Ripe apple, core, peel, seeds and all. Medium weight and dragging a bit of green stem with it. Good… but not great. A bit clunky and not very elegant. Hoping my second choice for NYE shows a bit better. — a year ago
Very nice. Nice expression of terroir. Thanks to Will at Fine Wine Vault for this bottle!

The nose on this is stunning. Hauntingly pretty with red fruit, roses and a great length and complexity. On the palate there's still decent fruit... A slightly blurry mid-palate, with a faded sweetness, resolved tannins and good length. A very nice wine still... But that nose! — 8 years ago
