Carricante grapes with 10% of Minnella from a new venture of respected winemaker Salvo Foti: Palmento Caselle, on Mount Etna eastern side (800 mt. a.s.l.), in Milo, the center of typical whites of the region. Saltiness, texture and nice acidity all rounded in a highly drinkable white. — 9 years ago
Beautiful, smooth and delicious!
Lovely lighter wine- great by itself or with food — 4 years ago

Intensely flavored amaro, strong anis, thick thick body. Similar to Fernet, but not quite as "nasty", if that makes sense? — 9 years ago
Slightly sweet in the Puglian style - articulate and precise — 9 years ago
Bravo. Such a quality for amazing price. — 9 years ago
My first of the 2019 vintage. Tasty, opened up with some air — had some mineral/old world vibes right out of the bottle. Cheers! $115. — 3 years ago
Classic Di Costanzo — a delicious, slightly lighter cab. Relatively low tannin, crisp and clear. Could probably have used some more air before drinking. It tasted more similar than different to me vs the Farella Vineyard. Looking forward to drinking again. $105 - $125? — 3 years ago
Grassy, crisp mineral stone fruits. Not much of a white drinker but this was great with seafood. — 8 years ago
Smooth as silk. Round tannin. Low acidity. Lots of dark fruits - blackberry, dark cherry, black grape. 14% abv doesn't show the heat at all. Sweet fruit finish. Good length. A crowd pleaser. For the price ($8), this is definitely a winner! — 9 years ago
Plenty of volcanic smoke, I can't help but feel this is much like the palmento but more expensive without reason. Great wine, but I'll move back to her other styles. — 9 years ago
