Had this at a palazzo in Bergamo. Dry as a bone, bracing! No wonder prosecco is outselling champagne — 8 years ago
Major decant needed. Nose is closed on open.
As it opens some lovely herbal notes.
Palate is clean. Tight. Closed.
As it opens tight cherry. Gorgeous.
Much better on day 2. delicious licorice. Fresh cherry fruit. Nose is blasting. Hand crushed mid season cherries. Spice. Roses. Some chocolate on the finish.
Either wait 5 years or decant 5 hours.

Really liked this wine — 7 years ago
I really think the fruit is reduced this year. Still very smooth but not getting the raspberry and prune up front, only faint black cherry and then into tannins and black olive. Very fine grained tannins. Definitely changing from previous years. Closing down? Will have to check back in 2018. — 8 years ago
Luscious. Full of fruit. No Tanin. Only wish I had more — 5 years ago
Serious cab franc. Very smooth. Very full. — 5 years ago
A good wine but not excellent. The texture is just too soft. Needs a stronger acid backbone. Otherwise, the fruit flavors are nicely accented with cut flowers on the nose, and slightly spiced on the palate. — 6 years ago
Great food wine, live Sicilian wines — 6 years ago
Right bank red. 68% merlot, 22% cabernet franc, 10% cab sauv. A different fruit than the endless napa cabs we drink. Bright red fruits, but that big dose of cab franc drives richness. Showing no secondary development at this stage and a couple hour decant is recommended. — 7 years ago
Another fresh Maltese Rosé! Absolutely delish! — 8 years ago
