From Aldi, brilliant wine full of flavour and not to dry — 6 years ago
Exceptional quality with lovely citrus, peach and apple aromas, plenty of minerality and a silky, rich texture. Lovely acidity - it's a great version of the classic Rhône white blend and the bit of extra bottle age helps. Excellent with food — 7 years ago

Tasty! Quite fruity — 9 years ago
Amazing quality/price ratio. Graphite and black pepper aromatics points to the smidge of Syrah, blackberries with super fine tannins, ably supported with a lovely vanillin finish. — 9 years ago

I pretty much haven't met a sauv blanc I don't like, but this one was notable! — 8 years ago
Full, rich, sweet, fruity nose. Aromas of honey, poached pear and fig. Viscous, full, and powerful on the palate. Surprisingly bright acidity leads to lots of orange zest, honey, marmalade and fig. The finish is sweet and lively and seemingly lasts forever. It easily has 10-20 years left. Can't believe this is $19.99 on the shelf! — 9 years ago
Gewurztraminer is a varietal that does particularly well in New Zealand in my tasting experience. Gorgeous nose of lychees with floral spicy notes. Voluptuous on the front and middle palates but finishes dry. The perfect wine with Asian food. In a word - delicious. Another brilliant Gewürztraminer is made at Gisborne in the North Island by Vinoptima whose goal it is to produce the worlds best Gewürztraminer to challenge the Grand Crus of Alsace. — 10 years ago
