Another solid vintage of this interesting Washington State wine. Dusty aromas of black olive, dark fruits, bramble and graphite. Flavors of ripe blueberries, Earth with a touch of black pepper. Long finish. Tempranillo from Eastern Washington is not just an experiment. They are Making some great expressions of the varietal. Revisited in May 2020. Still terrific. Well balanced and more Old World organics are showing through. Revisited again in November 2020. Just awesome! Revisited again in December 2021. Still Fantastic! — 6 years ago
First Organic Red Blend worthy to buy again. Because it’s organic I gave it a higher rating. I tried other organics but seem lacking full body. — 7 years ago
Very nice aromas of dark cherry and dried herbs. Dark cherry and cola flavors with a hint of vanilla. Old World organics on the finish. — 8 years ago

One of our favorite organics, and affordably priced to boot. — 8 years ago
Lots of fruit flavor. One of the best organic wines we’ve had. Not too much tannin. Prior ratings weren’t great but we thought the 2020 was very good. — 6 years ago
Excellent balance of fruit and organics. Ripe cherry and dried herbs on the nose. Cherry, Mushroom, mint, rosemary with a touch of licorice and cocoa on the pallet. Smooth tannins after a short wake up aeration. Well made! — 7 years ago
Decanting now, inky purple, smokey smelling Pinot...very exited. Notes forthcoming...
Nose of mashed black cherry, earthy soil rich with organics but biased towards crushed granite and early spring burning of pruned vines.
Palate is sweet/tart black cherry liquor, wet granite dust, blackberry juice and a very long finish.
I've not experienced a wine that fits the profile of 'Red Riesling' until tonight, and this is certainly the most apt description for the play of fruit to mineral in this glass. Amazingly nimble in all aspects, wow.
We will finish this bottle tomorrow, so notes will be updated.
92hr Update: Nose of intense vine bark and still that cherry liquor. Palate is a little shut down today, cherry, acidity and mineral dust components persist. I appreciated this bottle more on night one. — 8 years ago

Lots of plumy fruit flavors. Hints of cola and tobacco. A bit young but quite good for the price point. A little astringent alcohol on the finish, but bottle age should smooth that out. Excellent value for a CDP. Revisited in February 2020. As predicted, the astringency has mellowed out. Wine comes out of the bottle very fruit forward, but the organics come to the surface in short order. Thank you Keith S. — 8 years ago
Excellent, came from Amazon. Find to have again — 6 years ago
100% Grenache from Madrid. Huge on the organics. Smoke, Earth and rubber on the nose. Earthy and minerals on the pallet. Jammy Fruit notes are prevalent on the mid-pallet. Complex and bold. Best with food. Quite a unique expression of an Old World wine. — 6 years ago
Lovely dry bubbles with grapefruit and a biscuity finish — 7 years ago
This wine is incredible! Soft and smooth as silk. Herbal and violet aromas. Red cherry fruit with hints of chocolate and tobacco. Outstanding balance between fruit and organics. 14.4% alcohol but not overwhelming in the least. Thanks to Kieth Soltis for opening this bottle. — 8 years ago
