Quite young, needs at least 4 years, nose lacks complexity on opening but developed over a long time, body structured — 7 years ago
Got this at the winery w/Lyn 7/2018. Delicious. — 7 years ago
Delicious! Black cherries and intense strawberries, with hints of cedar and cranberries. When I think of AO, I think of Cabernet with an occasional Chardonnay, but now I will also think of Pinot noir. Long, satisfying finish. — 8 years ago
A wonderful change on a California Zin - Malbec really smoothed things out w/o decreasing the big fruit. — 13 years ago
Full-bodied. Cherry cola, red currants, and a hint of spice. Drinking beautifully now. — 6 years ago
Definitely drink now. Lots of sediment in the bottle.
Not as spectacular as I was hoping for but still a solid showing. Might be due to mediocre storage since purchase.
On the nose: artificial pine, leather, and roasted (grilled? I've never had them...) Cherries. Very dark on the palate though velvety tongue. A needy mouthfeel. Ever so eager to drain you and leave you wanting. — 8 years ago

Very reasonable! Awesome aroma, rich in flavor. Incredible wine. — 12 years ago
The oaked one is better but this ain’t that bad. — 7 years ago
There is something about Beckstoffer Georges III vineyard Cabernets that I almost always love. Like this wine, they almost always have a beautiful combination of black cherry and blueberry fruit in abundance. Maybe not as serious and structured as a To Kalon or a Dr. Crane cab, but so pleasurable and makes me so happy! — 8 years ago
A solid Pinot noir, nice balance nice fruit — 10 years ago
Pale lemon color. Intense nose of lemon, herb and green apple. High acidity, medium body and a tart finish. This is a great Sauvignon blanc not as exuberant as the typical CA style SB. I love this.
