Delicious! Black cherries and intense strawberries, with hints of cedar and cranberries. When I think of AO, I think of Cabernet with an occasional Chardonnay, but now I will also think of Pinot noir. Long, satisfying finish. — 8 years ago

Not as spectacular as I was hoping for but still a solid showing. Might be due to mediocre storage since purchase.

On the nose: artificial pine, leather, and roasted (grilled? I've never had them...) Cherries. Very dark on the palate though velvety tongue. A needy mouthfeel. Ever so eager to drain you and leave you wanting. — 8 years ago

There is something about Beckstoffer Georges III vineyard Cabernets that I almost always love. Like this wine, they almost always have a beautiful combination of black cherry and blueberry fruit in abundance. Pale lemon color. Intense nose of lemon, herb and green apple. High acidity, medium body and a tart finish. This is a great Sauvignon blanc not as exuberant as the typical CA style SB. I love this.
