My first ever Latour!!! The aromas sent me back into another lifetime- an era encapsulated within the aromas of an old world wine..complex aromas of cedar cigar box, dried cherry, tobacco, currant, parfume...the tannins were perfectly integrated, although I felt the palate was thinner than I expected and the finish was not long lingering but I figured this due to its age and it was not disappointing in any way. This is truly a magnificent wine and I feel very honored to have had this experience...100pts RP & WS — 12 years ago
