White Rock Vineyards
Napa Valley Claret Cabernet Sauvignon Blend
Napa Valley, California, USA
One of the only wineries in Napa that bottle ages in the cave walls. Old-world technique for an awesome old-world styled wine. Bottles may have come down, but spirits still high and lucky stars counted.

A lot of freshness here. A well-kept and well-priced Napa secret. Hope it stays that way.

Nov 8th, 2015If you want new world power and old world balance, this hits the mark. Dark cassis, black olive, dried herbs and flowers, great acidity and length.

Jan 22nd, 2015Agree with other reviews. Old world style BDX blend. Delicious wine and a great price for it considering it's from Napa.

Perfect red fruit nose. Broad and smooth on the palate with soft oak, dark fruit, black tea and anise. The finish is a lovely balance of tannin and acid. What a great wine.

Feb 6th, 2018Full disclosure: we didn't decant long enough. Slate and fruit on the nose and palate. Glycerin. The finish is tannic. I can't decide if I prefer the 2009 or 2010 more--different beasts that are hard to compare.

Jul 19th, 2016Great bouquet and excellent mouth feel. Bit of heat and tannins built to age. A good decant rewards.
